MOUNTING UP WITH WINGS LIKE EAGLES part 3

MOUNTING UP WITH WINGS LIKE EAGLES part 3

Isaiah 43:18-19

Forget the former things

Dear Brethren,

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus. We still continue with our topic mounting up with wings like an eagle but today we want to dwell on forgeting the former things. God is doing a new thing and He asks "do you not percieve it?"

The word of the Lord in Isaiah 43 was fullfilled in Ezra 1:11 by King Cyrus when he permitted the people to go and build the temple . He commanded that they be given everything they needed. The new thing Isaiah made reference is the fall of Babylon  (Isaiah 47)and restoration of all things for  Israel.

Israel had been in exile and God speaks through Isaiah that they needed to forget about them because it would come to pass.

Joshua 23:14 Isaiah 42:9,21-25, Isaiah 65:16, Isaiah 46:8

Joshua speaks to Israel and tells them all things God promised had come to pass. God will always do what He has promised.

Bringing this in our context, we have struggled with things in2020, we looked like we were slaves, in our personal lives, families, church even in our nation we were trapped in so much, corruption, suffering and you wonder whether this will ever end . You find that you are trapped. Today our Lord Jesus is declaring you to go free just like Cyrus declared to the Israelites.

He says that power, authority, spirit of fear that has been holding you will let you go now and you will be free again. God has declared freedom. That power oppressing you is going to fall in Jesus name! However remember as far as your life is concerned, the only person who can overule God's promise is YOU. Allow Him and you will be restored. That which was purposed for you will coming. The devil will never block your blessings.

God will comfort you and give you joy instead of sorrow. God is doing something new.

Psalms 68:9 Rom 15:32, Acts 3:19, Prov 3:7-8 2 Cor 4:16-18 Ex 15:2, Psalms 51:10, 54:4 (Please study these scriptures)

God will do it for us, if we let HIM, if we forget the former and focus on the new..many believers have been held captive by the past. They are so much lost in the past, dont want to let go....... We shall look at how the past can capture us so much that we cant see what new thing God is doing.

God bless....
